Strange Brew: Day 6-July 14, 2007
Amerivespa: Seattle, WA
We got up and out of bed around 8 or 9 a.m. this morning. I can't remember. I slept really well last night. We went down to the Amerivespa venue for breakfast. They had muffins, coffee, fruit, etc. for breakfast. I wandered around and talked with some of the vendors. Andre, a local artist from Portland, was there selling his really awesome drawings and prints of scooters. Corazzo, Modified, and MotoKitty were all there representing Portland, as well. MJ & Shayne went on one of the rides, while I stuck around and looked at scooters at the Concourse d'Elegance. I also watched them set up the gymkhana and checked a few things on my scooter. I was going to do the gymkhana but decided against it. I just didn't want to risk getting hurt again. I also didn't want to hurt my scooter anymore.
After the gymkhana and slow race we headed back to Ivan's to get ready for the banquet and fashion show. The banquet was a lot of fun....a little drawn out but the food was good, the company was good, and the fashion show was a lot of fun, too. I got a little sassy, as displayed in this picture.
After the banquet we followed Julie from the Belladonnas to a club and hung out there for a bit. It was fun just talking with people, seeing how they were doing and all that.
