Occasionally, I get email requests from companies or websites who would like to work with me.  Quite honestly, that's very flattering.  It's also very entertaining when I get a form email with an incorrect name from a company I have never heard of wanting to do link exchanges!  Sorry, you will not get a response from me.

Previously, I was a Gossamer Gear Trail Ambassador.  My role as a Trail Ambassador was to share my experiences with lightweight backpacking.  I've managed to cut my pack weight almost in half over the past three years, and I love to share how I did this with people.  I was one of a few Trail Ambassadors who had walked the Camino de Santiago, so this is one of my other specialties.  I give talks in the community about my long distance walking experiences, as well as my local hiking and backpacking trips.

That being said, I do have a few parameters I work under.

  • All of my reviews are 100% completely honest.  I share the good and the bad.  If I really don't like your product or experience, I reserve the right to not post a review.  My momma taught me if I don't have something nice to say, I probably shouldn't.  I will also post a disclaimer at the end of each post so people know I didn't pay for the product I'm reviewing.
  • I am very selective about who I choose to work with.  My readers trust me to recommend products or services to them.  I have had people come to me after using a product thanking me for the recommendation because it worked for them.  I don't take this responsibility lightly.  I suggest you check out my website first before contacting me.
  • I don't do link exchanges.  I will do a guest blog post exchange though.  I'd love to write for your readers if I think I have something to offer them, and I would love to have you write for my readers if I think you have something to offer them.
